The History of DEUTZ-FAHR combine

Deutz-Fahr is a brand of the Italian transnational holding SDF group, a manufacturer of tractors, combine harvesters and diesel engines.

Deutz-Fahr combine harvesters rely on 4 important factors for efficient harvesting that is guaranteed to be profitable: the combine must harvest the grain mass at high speed and a low percentage of losses, the purity of the crop at the output must be very high, the fuel consumption of the machine must not be large, in case If the harvester breaks down, it must be promptly put into operation.

The 6095 HTS combine is the top unit of the 60 series of Deutz combines, unlike the well-established 6090 HTS model with a 310 horsepower engine, the 6095 HTS has a 365 horsepower engine. with common rail fuel injection system, while maintaining a reserve of power to save engine life and prevent increased fuel consumption. This gave an increase in harvesting speed, and also made it easier to work in fields with high yields, where the load on the machine increases.

The header is equipped with an Autocontrol system that adjusts the header to the ground with uneven terrain, the deviations of which can reach 20%, this will not be a problem for the combine.

An average harvest purity of 98.5% is an almost sterile crop. This is achieved thanks to the multi-drum threshing system with a segmented concave that adapts to the type of crop being harvested, double-sided return for final threshing directly to the straw walkers, thereby eliminating overload of the combine. The threshing drum has a gearbox to reduce drum speed for particularly fragile products. A 44-bladed turbine with a diameter of 400 mm blows out everything that is superfluous that does not apply to grain, produces air intake across the entire width of the combine. Its operation can be adjusted in the transverse direction by means of deflectors.

The harvester is arranged so that the operator or service engineer would have easy access to any unit of the machine. The transmission of motion takes place on both sides of the engine, allowing the mechanical functions to be separated from the hydraulic functions and for a direct transmission of power without loss of power. In addition, the reduced number of belts and their availability reduce combine harvester management costs. On the straw walker shafts, Deutz-Fahr uses maintenance-free bearings instead of wooden bushings as other manufacturers do.

 

As mentioned earlier, the harvester is arranged so that the transmission of movement is carried out from two sides of the engine, allowing you to separate the mechanical functions from the hydraulic ones in order to eliminate power losses. The engine is also equipped with a DCR (Deutz Common Rail) fuel injection system with two injection pumps (with capacity control to limit diesel fuel recirculation) lubricated by engine oil. This is a more cost-effective solution compared to traditional systems, which entails greater safety and reliability, as lubrication is independent of fuel quality. The four ratio hydrostatic transmission guarantees always the right speed in all harvesting conditions, the torque is always perfectly matched for control even in the most critical situations. Rectified type gears and gearboxes can significantly reduce the noise level during operation without affecting the service life and reliability of the transmission system. Together, these factors always guarantee stable and correct operation of the engine, in such comfortable conditions it will not consume a lot of fuel.
