The History of FORTSCHRITT combine

The history of the emergence of one of the largest agricultural enterprises not only in the GDR, but throughout Germany, the Fortschritt company, began in 1949. Two enterprises from Neustadt and Stolpen already had the common name "Fortschritt" or "Progress" and were engaged in the production of agricultural machinery. In 1951, five East Saxon factories merged. These were the companies: Herkules-agricultural machinery production Neustadt/Saxony

 The main production of the united enterprise VVB LBH Fortschritt was concentrated in Neustadt, the young concern was gradually developing and improving. In the 50s, the plant produces balers, slurry pumps, all kinds of threshers, including K117. Since 1955, Fortschritt has been developing and starting production of more complex equipment, such as the E 062 forage harvester. The development history begins in 1970. The production of the E280 forage harvester is being established, and then the later modification of the E281, widely known in our country. Also, since 1970, the assembly of self-propelled mowers E 301, and then later modifications E302, E303, which have received their recognition and extraordinary popularity both here and abroad, has been developed and begun. Since 1970 and 1989, about 90,000 units have been produced, which in itself has become a world record for such equipment.

 

The Fortschritt E512 combine is a technological and highly efficient grain harvester. An ideal solution for cleaning small and hard-to-reach areas. Fortshrit E512 is a combiner of a simple keyboard design, has fully mechanical control systems and nodes. The disadvantage of Fortshrit E - 512 is the drive of the harvester and the drive of the threshing system, the nodes require knowledge of regulation and constant control and care, but the system is still functional.
