The History of Faymonville trailer

   The need to transport super-heavy or oversized cargo is not so rare. Large transport and logistics companies equip their fleets with heavy duty trucks. The heavy duty low bed trailers from Faymonville Distribution are capable of handling any transport task. Not all companies position the transportation of goods with their equipment, the mass of which reaches from 20 to 5000 tons.

 Faymonville products are designed specifically for this category of oversized items. The company focuses on the production of low loader trailers, which are used to transport oversized cargo. The new low bed trailer model, made up of standardized modular elements, was developed specifically for the transport of extra heavy loads on public roads. The lowered frame greatly facilitates the loading and transportation of cranes and their components, various engineering structures, rail transport, yachts, boats, motor boats and much more. But transporting such an unusual cargo on public roads is extremely difficult. The driver must be sure of the maneuverability of his vehicle and the reliability of the mounts used. To create a reliable and high-quality production environment, Faymonville uses innovative engineering and technological developments. For example, the strength of welds, which is provided by a special profile of parts, is controlled by ultrasonic or X-ray scanners.

For eight years, not a single Faymonville trailer has been repaired with damage to the coating. To protect huge trailers from corrosion in factories, MaxProtect+ technology. It is based on the mechanism for processing individual parts and components of a truck in special chambers. The next step is coating with a molten mixture of zinc and aluminum, supplied in a jet of hot gas. After careful sealing of all seams, Zinkepoxy epoxy is applied, and only then painting is carried out with a protective varnish.
