The History of Sampo combines
Sampo-Rosenlew has deep roots in Finnish industrial history. The company was founded in Pori in the middle of the 19th century. In the early 1900s, she began manufacturing agricultural machinery. The real innovation came in 1957 when the company launched its first self-propelled Sampo combine harvester. The machines are equipped with a hydrostatic transmission with stepless gear shifting, a modern cab, a self-cleaning system, a weighing device, as well as a carefully calibrated header that prevents grain loss.
