The History of Drexel forklift

These compact and manoeuvrable loaders, produced by the American company Landoll, have a wide range of applications. Drexel forklifts. Loaders with side forks. They are convenient to use when there are narrow corridors between racks in the warehouse.

Drexel loaders can successfully replace special narrow aisle stackers, which have three-way cargo handling. It is not a problem for them to drive in and load or unload even a truck on their own.

To operate these forklifts, a minimum aisle width of 1.5 m is sufficient. With the unique patented HI-LO adjustable protection system, Drexel forklifts work successfully in freezers and cold stores.

Advantages of electric forklifts

All equipment used in warehouses, powered by electricity, has undeniable advantages over their gasoline counterparts or those that run on diesel fuel. Such forklifts only need access to the mains and time to recharge.

In addition, the electric motor is not only environmentally friendly, but also quiet operation, which is very important in enclosed spaces.

Scope of loaders

Since the forklifts are battery-powered and do not pollute the air with exhaust emissions, they can also be used inside warehouses. The ability to easily mount various attachments (as needed) greatly expands the range of use of these loaders.

Drexel loaders are effectively used in working with frontal, drive-in and gravity types of racks. The high speed of transportation of goods and the convenient location of the driver's seat make it possible to transport goods outside warehouses over long distances without involving additional equipment for transportation.

The loader can rotate its mast by 90°, moving it towards the rack and making it possible to work in very narrow aisles. The ability of the loader to hold the load along the axis of movement during operation allows stacking and transporting also long loads.

Drexel narrow aisle forklifts work with or without rails in the aisles. Large rubber wheels are adapted to work on both asphalt and concrete floors.
