The History of Doosan Excavator

Doosan excavators have earned popularity among users due to their exceptional power and performance. Like other Asian equipment, the heavy, light and medium excavators of the Korean company are easy to operate and provide maximum return on work.

Doosan's priority is the production of special equipment capable of long-term operation in extreme conditions. For the manufacture of parts and structural units of excavators, materials of increased strength are used.

The use of excellent quality polymer composites for some elements helps to reduce noise and vibration levels. Systems for design, assembly and quality control of finished products are automated, computer diagnostics and advanced technologies are used.

Refueling tanks and working units are located in accessible places - routine service and maintenance is carried out in the shortest possible time. Thus, it is possible to minimize downtime and increase the effective period of equipment operation. The improved boom shape distributes the workload evenly, an important factor that also increases the uptime of the machine.

History of Doosan

Doosan was founded in 1896 by a small shopkeeper. In 1946, the company received its current name, with which it entered the world market. Already in 2005, the corporation had grown to such a size that it was able to buy out a subsidiary of Daewoo - Daewoo Heavy Industries. Since then, Doosan has become the sole owner of the Solar brand and the entire industrial complex with innovative developments.

The company is divided into several strategic enterprises, each of which produces a certain type of product. Thus, the production of construction equipment has been established at Doosan Infacore. After purchasing the Daewoo division, the Korean manufacturer was able to enter the global market. Today it is a company with several representative offices and its own developments in the field of heavy engineering.

Doosan started with the production of excavators and front loaders. At the end of 2010, the Korean "machine builder" became the sixth in the world in the production of equipment.
