History of Gottwald

  Founded a hundred years ago, Gottwald Port Technology GmbH is now part of the Demag Cranes Group. Twenty years ago it specialized exclusively in equipment for the transfer of goods in ports and terminals. The company is known as the inventor of the Mobile Harbor Crane and is a trendsetter in container handling automation.

The range of Mobile Harbor Cranes includes both fixed and mobile harbor cranes, as well as automated container handlers (AGVs), loaders (ASCs) and wide span gantry cranes (WSGs). Cranes have high productivity and loading speed. All types of equipment complement each other, and the use of AGV loaders can significantly reduce the amount of equipment needed for loading / unloading.

Since 1996, Gottwald has been DIN ISO 9001 certified.
