This trademark covers a range of Chinese trucks manufactured under license from Volvo Trucks for the FM model. In China, the cars are replicated by the Chengdu Dayn Automobile plant.
The Dayun CGC4250 CNG (6x4) tractor with air suspension and a height of 1270 mm is powered by compressed natural gas.
The Dayun Truck logo in the form of a ringed five-pointed star is gaining popularity. A two-axle liquefied natural gas (LNG) mixer and a three-axle mainline tractor powered by compressed methane (CNG) were exhibited at the CTT Expo 2022 open area.
The vehicle received a 6-cylinder in-line gas engine Weichai Power WP12NG400E50 Euro-5 (11.6 l, 400 hp at 1900 rpm, 1800 Nm at 1400 rpm). The fuel for it is natural gas stored in eight cylinders with a total capacity of 995 liters behind the cab. As an option, it is possible to install 450 l cylinders directly on the frame. Depending on the operating conditions, the power reserve on four cylinders is 500-700 km, on eight - 1000-1350 km. With a curb weight of 9860 kg, a tractor with a 12-speed manual transmission Fast Gear 12JSDX220TA-B and 16-ton HanDe drive axles is capable of operating as part of a road train with a gross weight of up to 53,000 kg.
The second model presented at CTT Expo 2022 is the Dayun CGC4250 LNG (6x4) LPG-powered concrete mixer with a 10-cc mixer. Before us is a concrete mixer model 4375SS. "Builder" with a length of 7895 mm, a width of 2550 mm and a height of 3100 mm has a center distance of 4300 + 1350 mm. In running order, the concrete mixer weighs 14,500 kg, and the technically permissible gross weight reaches 35,000 kg. Its engine is the same as on a truck tractor. A cryotank with a capacity of 450 liters mounted on the frame provides a range of 150–450 km.
