History of Snorkel Lift Trucks

In 1946, when many were taking their first tentative steps in the production of self-propelled lifting equipment, mechanical engineer Wally Jones revolutionized the construction market by designing an aluminum collapsible tower. It was he who played a huge role in the development of the market for lifts and tour towers. It all started with the fact that one day Jones needed to paint his house, the facade of which was distinguished by a complex shape, and it was not possible to use traditional scaffolding. It was then that the resourceful American decided to build a tower with adjustable legs. In addition to the fact that Jones turned out to be an excellent engineer, an entrepreneurial vein also woke up in him - he patented his invention, and by the end of 1950, towers became one of the most sought-after products in the construction market.

In 1958, Snorkel was founded in a small Missouri town, the main activity of which was the production and sale of boom lifts that were intended for firefighters and rescuers. And already in 1977, the company introduced the first automatic lifts, which very soon gained incredible popularity. Meanwhile, the American Wally Jones also made himself known by introducing the first self-propelled lift on his own chassis. In 1972, he opened a plant for their production in the city of Selma. It was there that the production of scissor lifts such as Flying Carpet was launched. In 2007, the brainchild of the enterprising American Wally Jones was sold to Snorkel, whose products are well-deservedly popular all over the world.

Today, the Snorkel lift is synonymous with quality, functionality and reliability. Their production is established in such countries as the USA, England, China and New Zealand. Snorkel is an innovative brand that combines such qualities as: simplicity of design, high performance, reliability, ease of operation and maintenance.

To date, the Snorkel A 38 is considered the most popular model. This is a fairly simple lift with excellent performance. Unlike the Snorkel A 38, the SL30SL lift has a very unusual design, as well as a platform stabilization system. This allows you to work even in hard-to-reach places with very high functional loads.

Our company has a wide range of Snorkel products. Snorkel is world-famous for reliability and functionality, and one of the undisputed leaders in the lifting equipment market.
