The History of Pöttinger trailer

For agricultural enterprises specializing in the production of crop products, a universal agricultural trailer is a good solution. Pöttinger, the European market leader in the assembly trailer segment, offers a wide range of these machines, which make up the Combiline family. The latest solution is the versatile trailer Torro 7010 Combiline, designed for collecting and transporting silage. This model is designed for operation in agricultural holdings engaged in the production of fodder crops and corn.

The Austrian manufacturer's Combilin trailer family was supplemented last season by the two largest models of the Torro Combiline series with a capacity of 40 and 43 m³ DIN. Torro 7010 Combiline and Torro 8010 Combiline hold 70 and 80 m³ of compressed green fodder respectively. Like the other trailers in this series (from 30.5 to 34 m³ DIN), they are available in D (with rear output shafts) and L (without shafts) versions. These modifications also differ in volume, which is slightly smaller in D: 38.5 and 42 m³ DIN, respectively.

Torro Combiline trailers also feature a number of new solutions to increase productivity and operator comfort. One of them is the new discharge roller drive, which transmits 160 kW of power with a torque of up to 1,700 Nm. This allows you to unload the trailer very quickly, as well as accurately distribute the green mass over the surface. In turn, processing efficiency and cut quality are increased by new durable Durastar knives made of steel with high hardness (50-53 HRC), 6 mm thick. This ensures a longer service life and reduces the risk of breakage. To achieve a self-sharpening effect, the knives are given a special shape. The new weighing system allows you to instantly determine the weight of the green mass even while the trailer is moving. In case of overload, the system gives visual and audible signals. The list of new products is supplemented by a side control panel using the CAN-BUS software product, which is a convenient platform for supporting the operation of additional equipment.
