Excavator Service, Operator’s and Parts Manuals PDF

Modern earth-moving equipment has a high degree of reliability and, with proper maintenance and operation, works flawlessly for a long time.

During the operation of the excavator, it is necessary to do scheduled maintenance. But often, with intensive work of equipment, the owner or driver neglects the scheduled maintenance of the excavator:

timely lubrication of moving parts and mechanisms;

refueling with high-quality fuel;

using original spare parts.

This is precisely the main reason that breakdowns occur in work and equipment wears out quickly.

Two main types of excavator repairs

The first type is scheduled maintenance. It is produced in advance, when it is clear that one or another spare part is badly worn out and will soon fail. This, first of all, concerns pins, hydraulic motors, crowns on buckets and other replaceable elements.

It is very important to inspect the excavator twice per shift for leaks, monitor fluid levels and the condition of rubbing parts, and also pay attention to the quality of the fuel being refueled. If this is not done in a timely manner, there will be problems with the operation of the excavator and expensive repairs will be required.

The second type is forced repair. This type of repair begins with diagnostics, identification of non-working components, mechanisms and the causes of their breakdowns. Diagnostics is carried out both visually and with the help of special diagnostic equipment. It is also necessary to find out the reasons, since a new spare part can also quickly fail.

In repairs, it is necessary to use original spare parts in order to achieve 100% equipment compatibility. If everything is done correctly, then you can forget about the repaired node for a long time.

Repairs must be carried out by qualified service mechanics. In the event of warranty cases or difficult moments during repairs, it is worth contacting the dealer who sold and maintained the excavator.
