Nissan Forklift Trucks History

Nissan Forklift's manufacturing facilities are strategically located in Europe, Japan and the United States, providing high flexibility to respond to the demands of different markets. The European forklift manufacturing facility is located in Pamplona, Spain, where the high quality of the manufactured products is confirmed by ISO 9001:2000 certification and ISO 14001:1996 environmental management system certification. Nissan warehouse equipment is located in Gothenburg, Sweden, where the manufacturing facility is also ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:1996 certified.

As one of the world's leading manufacturers of material handling equipment, Nissan Forklift offers a complete range to meet the vast majority of needs in a variety of applications. It includes forklifts with diesel and gas engines with a lifting capacity of 1.5-8.0 tons, three- and four-wheel electric models with a lifting capacity of 1.25 to 3.0 tons. They are complemented by a wide range of warehouse equipment:

Reach trucks;

order pickers;

Pallet transporters;

Stackers.

This is the range that allows you to choose the most optimal solution in accordance with the needs of logistics operations. Nissan Forklift's product design is the result of rigorous research into key performance, durability, safety, ease of operation, environmental awareness and invaluable feedback from a broad customer base. This particular attention to detail results in handling equipment that meets the highest technical quality standards.

The growing popularity of Nissan Forklift equipment in Ukraine is provided by two main models of loaders - DX and TX. In the first half of 2012, Nissan Forklift electric warehouse equipment is actively expanding its presence in this segment. The most popular models of Nissan loaders have a number of undeniable advantages over competitors, which I would like to dwell on in more detail.

The undeniable advantage of forklifts with an internal combustion engine is Nissan engines. Today, these engines can be seen on the vast majority of loaders of other brands, because they have proven to be the most reliable and economical. At the same time, on Nissan loaders, in-house engines work even better, because they were developed specifically for them. The range of engines consists of gas, gas-gasoline and diesel models, which are designed for loaders with a carrying capacity of 1.5 to 8 tons. Exhaust emissions from Nissan engines are well below today's EU and US requirements. Only Nissan LPG trucks are factory equipped with a 3-way catalytic converter with Nissan ECCS electronic control system. On Nissan loaders, many models are equipped with a special patented engine and transmission overheating protection system, which does not just turn off the engine in case of a critical temperature rise, but deliberately reduces engine speed so that it can cool down, and the operator has time to take the loader to a safe place.

In the field of vibration absorption, Nissan has gone further than its competitors. Unlike other designs, Nissan's patented system not only absorbs vibrations from the engine and transmission, but also from the road surface. The heart of this system is a floating protective cab, which is attached to the loader frame through “floating” supports, and the hood, seat, front panel, etc. are already attached to it. Such a system not only provides operator comfort, but also protects many loader components (for example, electronics ), extending their service life.

By the way, about electronics. The instrument panel, standard for many loaders, has been replaced on Nissan loaders with a 3-mode LCD-display with control. It shows not only current information about the loader, but it can do much more. There are 3 access zones via LCD display. The three categories are: Administrator Mode, Operator Mode, and Diagnostic Mode. Administrator mode allows you to create passwords for up to five operators. In this mode, you can also set how and when the operator must enter a password to continue working.

In Operator mode, once the password system has been activated, each operator must enter a pre-set password in order to be able to control the loader. This mode allows you to effectively determine the productivity of each operator (up to the calculation of piecework wages), as well as prevent unauthorized use or theft of the loader. The operator's hours of work are recorded in two versions: the time the engine is running and the time the ignition is on.

When choosing loading equipment, a reasonable manager will always pay attention to efficiency. And electrical engineering is no exception. Nissan Forklift, drawing on Renault-Nissan's wealth of experience in developing new electric technologies (for example, in the development of the latest Nissan Leaf electric car), is now offering regenerative braking technology on all electric models without exception.
